Wayne Gamester

Principal / President-CEO

Wayne left his home in PEI and started a career in restoration in the 1980’s.  He worked his way up to Crew Chief, running crews for fires, water damage and other claims until starting AFF in 1982.  The business was originally based from his home, but quickly outgrew that location.  Since then, Wayne grew the business with hard work, honesty and good business practices to now celebrating his 20th year with the company.  AFF has a reputation of being a professional, knowledgeable and economical organization, capable of handling all your property damage needs.  He is loved by his employees and customers alike.

Rick Templeman, C.I.P

Principal/General Manager

Rick began his career as an estimator in his family restoration business in Newfoundland in 1979, preparing estimates for adjusters for property damage claims.  He became an independent adjuster in 1980 and advanced to branch manager at several locations in BC in the mid 90’s.  After 25 years adjusting, he transitioned back to restoration in 2005, advancing from Project Manager to large loss commercial PM, General Manager and, after joining AFF in 2022, to partner and GM.  Rick is experienced in all aspects of claims handling, major restoration and business management.

Pam Gamester

Accounts Receivable

Pam has been a part of AFF since its inception and is now entering her 22nd year with the company, having previously worked full-time at Forzani Group Ltd.

With 26 years of experience in accounting within the athletic wear industry, Pam transitioned to AFF’s accounting team full-time. Over the years, she has held roles as Payroll Manager, Office Manager, and AR Supervisor. As the company grew, she retained her position as AR Supervisor and also manages the company’s insurance policies.

Coming from a family with a background in restoration, Pam began learning the industry at just 12 years old while working with her father, a part-owner of a restoration company. Now, working alongside Wayne, she continues to expand her expertise across all aspects of the business.

Brooke Templeman

Operations Manager

Brooke has 12 years in the industry, she has moved her way through all administrative positions, AFF for 2 years as Operations manager

Mark Lunnin

Client Service Manager

Mark has 40 years experience of Sales and Management positions over his career and with over 17 years now in the Insurance/Restoration industry. Mark joined AFF 21/2 years ago and has assumed the role of Clients Service Manager.

Mike Lamb

Safety Manager

Mike has 14 years’ experience in safety, most of that time spent in the oil & gas industry. He has his NCSO designation.

Mike has been with AFF as safety manager since May 2024.

Lori Boran

Finance Manager

I have been working in the restoration industry for 30 years, as a Finance/Accounting Manager.  Though I’ve known Wayne, President & CEO, of Alberta Fire & Flood Ltd. for the entire 30 years, I have been working with him at AFF since 2012.

Deon Bowering

Senior Project Manager/Complex Claims

Deon has been in the industry for 33 years, working his way up from technician to joining AFF. Deon has been with AFF  for 13 years, moving his way up from crew chief to project manager He specializes in large loss and complex loss projects, and mostly handles large reconstruction projects. Deon has commercial & applied structural drying, mold & asbestos, commercial & residential fires designations.

Matt Schmidt

Senior Project Manager/Complex Claims

Matt has been working at AFF for 13 years, working his way from crew chief to project manager. He manages mostly large loss and complex loss projects.

Peter Beerman

Project Facilitator / Complex Loss

Peter Beermann is a red seal journeyman carpenter with 30 years of building experience and an extensive knowledge of building practices and building code requirements. Peter spent many years working/ managing restoration and appraising companies which has provided him a wealth of knowledge regarding the insurance industry’s practices and standards pertaining to property loss. This combined with Peter’s experience managing his own company gives him a unique perspective and the ability to see the construction industry from both sides.

Jennifer McGarrity

Project Manager Assistant/ Complex Loss

Jennifer has been with AFF for 10 years. She started in the field, and moved her way through to project manager assistant to Complex loss coordinator.

Tony Penner

Senior Project Manager

Tony has over 30 years in the restoration industry working his way from crew chief to project manager. He has been a project manager with AFF for just over two years Tony specializes in both residential and commercial losses.

Carol-Anne Walker

Project Manager

Carol-Ann has been with AFF for 17 years. She moved her way up through all administrative positions, and then moved into a project manager position 3 years ago and has been handling both residential and commercial losses.

Sjohn Wolfe

Project Manager

Sjohn has been with AFF for 2 years, Sjohn has 17 years’ experience in the industry, working his way from technician where he specialized in flood & bio-hazard cleans to becoming a project manager. Sjohn holds a Master Fire Restorer certification & a journeyman designation in water & textile restoration. Sjohn specializes in condo & private restoration, Asbestos, mold and drywall removal.

Sherry Hubel

Contents/Fire Line Manager

Sherry has 3 years in the industry, 3 years at AFF Sherry started in the field, and moved her way to project managers assistant then to Contents, Fireline manager.
